Inspired by the iconic Wall Street subway mosaics of New York City, this hand-cut tile mosaic brings the character and architectural detail of a historic NYC subway station into a restaurant interior.
The bold WALL ST lettering is set against a deep blue mosaic field and surrounded by an elaborate green, blue, cream and gold decorative border, echoing the rich ornamentation and distinctive green tones of the original Wall Street subway mosaic. The combination of classical floral scrollwork, checkerboard detailing and geometric motifs gives the piece an authentic vintage New York feel.
Designed to be set directly into a subway-tiled wall, this mosaic makes a particularly striking feature for a pizza restaurant, pizzeria, Italian-American restaurant, New York-style deli, bar or café. Installed among classic white subway tiles, it creates the impression of an original piece of New York architectural history built into the space.
Each mosaic is hand cut and made to order and can be customized in size, lettering and color palette to suit a restaurant or commercial interior.
The mosaic is on mesh for installation and packed in a custom wood box for safe travel with extra tile pieces in case needed during installation. Once grouted the hand cut mosaic is like a tile wall and can be cleaned and maintained as such.
It takes roughly 8 weeks for the mosaic to reach you depending on the size of the mosaic from when you order. All my mosaics are cut by hand.
Mosaics can be custom made for size and color and can also have any writing or number you choose. I can also create any logo , pattern or artwork with mosaic.
I can create any design and any size of mosaic. For large mosaics even full floors, they can be sectioned and packaged and shipped in sections. These can be put back together and grouted over.
